Created in 2017 in the city of Curitiba by Luam Clarindo, Encontro de Pandeiros (Pandeiro Meet) is a voluntary project  that promotes workshops and interviews around the Brazilian pandeiro. In the initial years of the project, workshops were held for the community, led by Luam and also by other percussionists from the city such as: Joãozinho do Pandeiro, Ricardo Salmazo, Hallana Aguiar, Otto Lenon, Vinícius Portes, Leon Adan etc. During the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual meetings were held with leading percussionists of this instrument, such as Marcos Suzano, Rafael Toledo, Larissa Umaytá, Léo Rodrigues, Ivison, etc. After the pandemic, the workshops resumed in various locations in Curitiba. In 2023, Luam gave workshops of pandeiro to groups of children during FIPCuritiba, a renowned international percussion festival.
